Congratulations to the Buffaloes on winning their Division and
completing the regular season a PERFECT 22-0!!!
They will be the #1 Seed heading into the playoffs that begin on Sunday, July 15th.

The Buffaloes will host Forks (#8 Seed) on Sunday, July 15th
Game Time: 1:00 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Playoff Updates:
Game 1: The Buffaloes defeated Forks (#8 Seed) 10-6 in the opening round.
They will host Bath (#4 Seed) on Monday, July 16th.
Game Time 5:45 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Game 2: The Buffaloes defeated Bath (#4 Seed) 3-2 in the second round.
They will host South Parkland (#2 Seed) on Tuesday, July 17th.
Game Time 5:45 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Game 3: The Buffaloes defeated South Parkland (#2 Seed) 6-2 in the third round.
They will host Lower Mac (#5 Seed) on Thursday, July 19th.
Game Time 5:45 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Game 4: The Buffaloes defeated Lower Mac (#5 Seed) 4-2 in the fourth round.
They will host South Parkland (#2 Seed) on Friday, July 20th for the League Championship.
Game Time 5:45 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Game 5: The Buffaloes were defeated by South Parkland (#2 Seed) 7-2 in the fifth round.
They will host South Parkland (#2 Seed) again on Saturday, July 21st
for the League Championship.
Game Time 1:00 PM @ OMS Varsity Field.

Game 6: The Buffaloes defeated South Parkland (#2 Seed) 7-3 in the Championship Game.

With this win, it marks the most wins (32) in a single season for
Coach Weber's 20 Year Head Coaching Career.

The 2007 PA Eastern Regional Games begin Saturday, July 28th.
The games will be played in Kutztown and Fredericksburg.
The Buffaloes will be playing in Kutztown.

The Buffaloes will open the Regional Tournament at 10:00 AM against Abington.

Regional Updates:
Game 1: The Buffaloes defeated Abington 11-1 in the opening round.
Their next opponent will be Beech Creek (near Lock Haven) on Sunday, July 29th.
Game Time 4:00 PM.

Game 2: The Buffaloes were defeated by Beech Creek 7-4 in the second round.
Their next opponent will be the host team, Kutztown, on Monday, July 30th.
Game Time 1:00 PM.

Game 3: The Buffaloes defeated Kutztown 9-4 in the third round.
Their next opponent will be Downingtown on Tuesday, July 31st.
Game Time 4:00 PM.

Game 4: The Buffaloes were defeated by Downingtown 5-1 in the fourth round.
 That was their second loss in the Regionals, which knocked them out of the post-season and
an end to the 2007 Season.

BASEBALL HAS EXTENDED THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE
FOR ANY NEW Jr. DEVELOPMENT PLAYERS INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR THE 2007 SEASON.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE ATTEND TRYOUTS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 24th @ 1:00 PM @ THE OREFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL.

 North Parkland will be holding baseball registrations and tryouts for 12, 13, 14 and 15
 year olds on Saturday March 17, 2007 at the Orefield Middle School Varsity
  Baseball Field (rain or shine).  A player’s baseball age is based on how old the player
 will be on 4/30/2007. 

 12 and 13 year old players are to report by 1:00 PM. 
 14 and 15 year old players are to report by 3:00 PM. 

 The tryouts will last at least two weeks. We will try to have the cuts done as quickly as we
 can while also giving the kids a good opportunity to show their talents. North Parkland will
 be fielding an American Junior Legion team (14 and 15 years), an American Junior
 Development Legion team (12 and 13 year olds), and Lehigh Valley Knee-Hi team (13 and
 14 year olds). Players are encouraged to have plans in place in case they do not make one
 of the North Parkland teams.

 In the 16 thru 18 age group, North Parkland will be sponsoring a American Senior Legion
 team, Connie Mack team, and an Upper Macungie League team.

 The Connie Mack (which is for players 16 and under as of 4/30/2007) and
 Senior Legion (players 18 and under as of 1/1/2007) will begin at 3:00 PM on
 Saturday April 14, 2007 at the Orefield Middle School Varsity Baseball Field.
 However, Connie Mack players are asked to register on March 17, 2007 at 3PM.

 The Upper Macungie team (ages 18 and under) will begin tryouts on March 31, 2007 on the Orefield Middle School JV field at 1:00 PM.

 All scheduled registration dates are rain or shine.

  ATTN:  To ALL Jr. Legion and Legion Parents!!! 

    Starting with the 2004 Season, the state is implementing a new rule in regards to player eligibility during the Regional and State playoffs.  This new rule applies to only the Junior and Senior Legion teams at NPAA.  Any player that misses a portion of the Regional or State playoffs will not be allowed to participate when they return.  Church and family emergencies are the only exceptions to this new rule.

    NPAA is advising parents of potential Junior and Senior Legion players to keep this new rule in mind when they plan their 2004 summer vacations.  If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact Terry Stoudt (Senior Legion) or Kurt Weber (Junior Legion).
